The 18-story Federal Building in San Francisco will officially become the Speaker Nancy Pelosi Federal Building on Monday.

U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi will install new signs for the tower across from the U.S. Court of Appeals building on 7th Street, one block south of Market Street.

Pelosi, the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Transportation all have offices in the facility, which was opened in 2007.

For 37 years, Pelosi has served as the representative for California’s 11th Congressional District. She became the first woman elected speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2007.
