Kansas City has a lot of great young talent on the roster and plenty of players that have not reached their highest potential.

There Chiefs have six players on the roster that have been given the honors of first or second team all pro. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Creed Humphrey, Chris Jones, Joe Thuney and Tommy Townsend. On both the offense and defensive side of the ball young players will elevate themselves this season.
A player will receive all-pro nods when the player receives enough votes from a panel of broadcasters and writers. The first play that could get their first all-pro nod is right guard Trey Smith.
Smith has been one of the best guards in the NFL. He is going to be a part of one of the best lines next year. Plying next to Humphrey will make Smith look better. There are some players that he will have to jump over. Zack Martin is the best right guard in the NFL. However, a lot of the top-tier talent in the NFL plays on the left side giving him an advantage.
The next player on the offense is WR Kadarius Toney. Kansas City is looking for their next number-one wide receiver. Since becoming a Chief Kadarius has been talked about in an extremely high manner.
His skill set on the field shows he has the talent to be one of the best receivers. There are a couple of obstacles standing in the way. One of them is his health. Toney has missed a lot of games in his career suffering soft tissue injuries.
The other obstacle is the extreme level of talent in the position. Players like Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill and Devante Adams have shown their abilities on the field.
On the defensive side of the ball, there are many options the Chiefs could go with. The first is one of the most popular players in Nick Bolton. Bolton broke the Chiefs franchise record for tackles in a season and proved his play-making ability in the super bowl.
Bolton has the ability to always find a path to the ball. While he also faces top-tier talent in players like Fred Warner and Roquan Smith it’s possible for Bolton to jump on of those players.
In the end, the Chiefs are going to depend on a lot of young talent if they expect to make a run at another super bowl.
