Sharing is caring!

A mother overdosed after shooting her son in the head in Deer Park. The woman’s boyfriend, who dialed 911, claims this.

I believe she overdosed and only shot her son.

Emergency personnel were called to a residence on Glenway Avenue, which is located off Blue Ash Road, at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Sunday.

The mother’s alleged drug use was known to the boyfriend.

She has a frothing mouth.

When the shooting happened, the mother and boy were in a car in the garage.

According to authorities, the mother was also shot on Sunday. The situation of the mother and son was critical.

The shooting’s circumstances are yet unknown.

Amity Elementary, where the youngster attends, issued the following statement.

I have some bad news to share with you, and it makes me sad. We learned earlier today that a 12-year-old Amity Elementary pupil had been shot. We don’t yet know any more information regarding the incident, and the student’s identity hasn’t been made public.

We recognize that our families may be distressed and worried by this news. Please know that our students’ safety and wellbeing continue to be our first priority. Counselors and mental health specialists will be on hand at the school tomorrow to assist any staff members or children who might be having difficulty processing this information.

You are crucial in assisting your kids in overcoming obstacles because you are their parents. Please reassure your child and remind them that they are secure if they show any signs of worry or emotion regarding this situation. Encourage children to express their emotions, and don’t be afraid to ask for help from the administration or school counselor if you need it.
