After police found a Florida guy naked in an elementary school classroom, allegedly in possession of a variety of sex toys and marijuana, he was detained and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.
According to the arrest complaint, officers were called on November 28 regarding a white male who was in a classroom at Windmill Point Elementary School in Port St. Lucie, Florida, while naked.
The man apparently hastily dressed himself and ran away as police arrived on the scene. Joe Franklin Urias, 34, retaliated by hitting one police officer in the face when they came up to him. After taking control of Urias, Backup arrived, and the culprit was taken into custody.
Urias teaches at Somerset College Preparatory Academy, another nearby school, as police soon learned.

According to reports, Urias broke into the school through an unlocked window and claimed to be homeless. In the classroom where they first saw him, officers discovered a number of sex toys and women’s underwear among his personal belongings.
Additionally, Urias was discovered by police in possession of a leafy green material in a clear plastic container, which they determined to be marijuana.
Urias was charged with violence on an officer, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and burglary. After learning that he was going around the campus naked and with sex toys, the affidavit accused him of engaging in indecent and lascivious behavior.
In a Facebook statement following Urias’ arrest on Thanksgiving evening, Somerset College Preparatory Academy acknowledged accusations made against a former employee that had nothing to do with our institution.
According to the school’s statement, “we want to emphasize that the safety and well-being of our students and the community is our top priority.”
All potential employees at our school must pass a rigorous background investigation and screening process run by the local school system as part of our dedication to upholding a safe workplace. Without this approval, we don’t hire anyone.
“We have handled this matter administratively and will take all necessary actions to ensure that this individual does not return to our campus,” the news announcement said.
Urias is now being held on a $31,000 bond at the St. Lucie County Jail.
