A empty Brookside property was badly damaged by fire on Saturday night.
Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company spokesman said the fire broke out in the Chippendale Circle unit complex just before 9:30 p.m. When firefighters got there, they discovered that the roof was on fire and that the fire had spread to a nearby shed.
Six fire departments in the area assisted Aetna in fighting the wildfire. There were no injuries.
Officials say the house was just bought by a new owner and is undergoing renovations.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by the state fire marshal.
