SNAP payments for December were confirmed by the US Department of Agriculture. The states that will stop providing Food Stamps by December 20th should be our main concern. Florida and Texas are among the states that will keep issuing checks until December 28. Some won’t make payments until January 1, 2025.
On December 20, 2024, SNAP benefits will no longer be provided in New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington. Within ten days, people can anticipate receiving payments of up to $292. North Carolina, Michigan, Mississippi, and others will continue to do so until December 21, 2024. In Missouri and Puerto Rico, food stamp applications must be submitted by December 22.
