In November 2024, Montana hunter Bret Pullman shot a beautiful 200-inch deer buck on his family’s ranch close to Caldwell, according to Field and Stream.

Pullman tracked this elusive buck for two seasons before he took advantage of a fortunate encounter and made a spectacular 482-yard shot.

The buck has 17 scoreable points, 23.5-inch main beams, and a 20-inch interior spread.

It could be the first Montana deer of this magnitude to make it into the Boone & Crockett record books in almost 30 years if the green score holds following the required 60-day drying time. Read the full story and see more images at Field & Stream.
