On Tuesday, family members of Cash App creator Bob Lee accused Nima Momeni, who was found guilty of second-degree murder in connection with Lee’s stabbing death, of attempting to conceal the crime.

After an eight-week trial, the verdict was read Tuesday in San Francisco Superior Court, and Lee’s family members addressed.Early on April 4, 2023, Momeni attacked Lee in the East Cut/Rincon Hill area near the base of the Bay Bridge.

Momeni attacked the computer entrepreneur, according to the prosecution, because she was angry over Lee’s drug usage and relationship with Momeni’s sister. According to defense lawyers, Momeni stabbed Lee in self-defense.

Members of the Lee family and his ex-wife Krista Lee told reporters outside the courtroom after Tuesday morning’s hearing that the Momeni family was conspiring to have him not prosecuted.

According to Timothy Oliver Lee, Lee’s brother, “Nima not only committed this crime, but those in his close circle also assisted in attempting to conceal it.”

Even more blunt was Krista Lee, who has been vocal about the Momeni family throughout the trial.

Her words, “The blood is on their hands,” “The mother, the sister, the brother-in-law.”

Krista Lee went on to say that Momeni’s relatives ought to be held responsible as well for allegedly attempting to hide Momeni’s behavior. and alluded to further legal action against the Momeni household.

Her words, “Our fight is not over yet,”

A few days after the stabbing, Momeni gave his mother and sister the authority to sell his BMW—the same vehicle he fled the scene in—according to evidence shown during the trial. Immediately following Lee’s passing, Momeni also kept the vehicle in a carport at his mother’s home, Assistant District Attorney Omid Talai said.
