Early Saturday morning in East Cleveland, a tragic incident unfolded as five people were shot at a local bar near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Taylor Road.

The shooting, which happened around 5 a.m., left four individuals injured and in need of immediate medical attention.

The victims were quickly transported to nearby hospitals, but their current conditions remain unknown at this time. Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

East Cleveland Police, led by Chief Ken Lundy, have confirmed that three people have been brought in for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.

The incident has shaken the community, especially as it occurred less than 600 feet from a previous shooting on September 2 at a Mobil gas station.

That earlier event also led to hospitalizations, with three people injured. This latest violence is the second in the area within a short span of time.

On the same day as the previous shooting, another incident occurred just 1,000 feet away, leaving two more people injured.
