The Des Moines Police Department reports that a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Christmas Day has been found and is safe.
The girl had been reunited with her family and was in good health, according to a DMPD release.
She was last seen with friends at the intersection of 27th Street and Allison Avenue on the northwest part of the city, where she was reported missing.
Everyone who assisted in finding the girl was thanked by DMPD.
