MILFORD, OH Downtown, a brand-new eatery has opened.
This social media post from the local chamber of commerce states that a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last month to celebrate Flamingo Drive’s grand opening. The address of Milford’s newest eatery is 227 Main St.
Empanada del Dia (with salt cod, potato, red chili, and charred tomato sauce), yucca fries, fried maduros, broccoli cheese croquettes, chicken liver mousse (with cream cheese, guava, and schmaltz bread), and ahi tuna (with avocado, salsa criolla, and radish) are dishes on the menu.
Fritta burger (with a house chorizo patty, sweet onion, queso panela, guava mayo, and fried sweet potato), Cuban sandwich (with pork mojo, salami, brown butter, Jarlsberg spread, and spicy pickles), fried jerk chicken, and maduro salad (with greens, heart of palm, pickled red onion, sweet potato sticks, ricotta salata, and citrus basil vinaigrette) are also on the menu.
Is there space for something sweet? Flamingo Drive offers sweet potato flan and key lime pastries.

The wait was worthwhile! This place has personality and character. The proprietors have extensive experience in the industry and have already opened the fantastic Governor Diner next door.
We have made two trips to Flamingo Drive. The food was excellent both times, and the costs are fair! Live music rounded out the experience, and the decor and food have a wonderful Cuban Latin vibe. I’m going to return because this has become my new favorite spot. Milford is doing really well!

On its first day of operation, the service is faultless. Meals that are beautifully prepared. We ate rice and beans, yucca fries, broccoli cheese croquettes, and ahi tuna. It was all quite tasty. The vibe is cool and trendy. The lounge area, restaurant, bar, and restrooms are all quite lovely. In the back of the building is a private lounge space that will be great on warmer days.
