Victim shot several times during robbery at Antioch park

According to Antioch police, on Monday afternoon, two men robbed and shot a person near Gentrytown Park.

Two males approached a man in the park at 12:45 p.m. and demanded that he turn over his possessions.

According to the police, one of the males shot the victim many times during the ensuing battle. The victim’s possessions were then taken by the two robbers as they fled the area.

The victim had severe injuries when they were brought to the hospital, but according to the police, their status is stable.

A Black male in his late teens to early twenties and a Hispanic man in his late teens to early twenties were the two robbers, according to authorities.
