Authorities in Florida have arrested a guy who allegedly went on a rampage after being ejected by hotel workers and killed another visitor with a fire extinguisher.

The Quality Inn in Kissimmee, which is close to Disney World, was the scene of the incident last Wednesday.

A probable cause arrest affidavit states that Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the motel located at 2945 Entry Point Boulevard in reference to an armed incident.

They found the culprit, Piero Estefano But-Castillo, with blood on his hands when they got there. Deputies say But-Castillo, a Chilean, celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday.

According to authorities, Robert Krusinowski, 55, was discovered unconscious and suffering from severe injuries to his head, face, and neck.

Although paramedics tried, they were unable to save his life. At the scene, they declared him dead.

According to the affidavit, investigators found that But-Castillo had been residing at the long-term stay motel but was compelled to leave on Wednesday and was not permitted to stay any longer.

But-Castillo reportedly became agitated by this and started damaging hotel property on the third floor, including breaking windows in rooms that were occupied.

Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said Krusinowski was attacked while trying to defuse the situation.

He informed me it was a vicious thrashing with the fire extinguisher.

Investigators claim that the defendant slammed the victim to the ground on surveillance camera and witness footage. According to reports, But-Castillo struck Krusinowski with the fire extinguisher.

The victim, who appeared still and lifeless, was also seen on video being punched and having her head stomped on by the defendant. But Castillo allegedly continued his flurry of punches and kicks after dragging the victim into the breezeway.

As the assault was happening, police rushed on the scene and took But-Castillo into custody on accusations of first-degree murder. At the moment, he is being held without bond at the Osceola County Jail.

According to the declaration, Krusinowski had lived in the hotel for a considerable amount of time and regularly helped with maintenance problems.

But-Castillo entered the country on January 1 on a 90-day tourist visa, according to Lopez. Prior to leaving, he had been in the nation as a student in 2019.
