San Angelo Teen Employees Face Charges After Allegedly Stealing $1 Million From Walmart!

Two 18-year-old boys from San Angelo, Texas, were arrested last Sunday after being accused of stealing over $1 million from Walmart during their employment at the store.

The two teenagers, identified as Ryan Munoz and Carmelo Amigleo, have been charged and are currently being held on a $350,000 bond each. They are waiting in jail for their court date.

The investigation started after authorities received a tip about a large-scale theft happening at Walmart, involving the two young employees. Law enforcement officers began looking into the case on July 24th.

Four days later, they located and arrested both individuals at their homes nearby, without any issues.

Right now, it’s still unclear whether the stolen items included cash or merchandise, but officials confirmed that the total value exceeded $1 million.

In a press conference held last Monday, SAPF Chief Travis Griffith asked the public for any information that might help in the ongoing investigation.

He urged anyone with relevant details to step forward as they continue to piece together the case.

According to a 2024 report from GITNUX, Walmart faces losses of about $3 billion every year due to theft, and around 43% of these losses come from employee theft.
