Heartbreaking: Man from North Carolina was killed on his wedding day, just hours after marrying the “love of his life”

For a family in North Carolina, the day that was meant to be full of love and happiness turned out to be a terrible tragedy.

Tyrek Burton, who is 37 years old, married Kiara, the love of his life, on Saturday. Beautiful pictures from their ceremony and reception were shared online, making it feel like a fairy tale—until the unimaginable happened. The groom was killed by a gunshot just seven hours after getting married.

Family members say that an unknown person went into the park and said that Burton was involved in a car accident. WXII 12 reported that Burton was shot right after in front of his new bride and other people, including his daughter.

The suspect allegedly ran away after the shooting, which led police to keep looking into it. As of now, no suspects have been named, and the police are still trying to figure out what happened before this terrible act of violence.

“If you see something, say something.” “It’s really easy,” his sister Brittany told him. “There are doorbell cameras out there that look like that.” There are cops out there. “I’m out there.”

According to the news source, Carolyn Burton, the victim’s mother, said through tears, “I demand justice, I demand it, and I don’t want to wait years for it.” He didn’t deserve what he got. It took him 13 years to find his bride, and now that he has her, he can’t even take her home.

Because of this terrible event, Burton’s family and friends have set up a GoFundMe page with the message that all the money raised will be used to help his four girls.

His family said, “He was a beloved husband, father of four beautiful girls, brother, and friend. He was known for being kind and having a smile that could light up a room.” “Unexpected deaths can put a lot of stress and strain on families.” Your gift will help pay for things and give Tyrek’s family support during this tough time. Help us make sure that his family gets the care they need.
