There are likely people in the US who have never seen the $100 1861 Confederate States of America Military Endorsement Banknote. Are you new to collecting coins and other small items of history? If so, check out this great example from US history.

This $100 bill was graded by PCGS and is now called Choice Fine-15 Details. It goes without saying that the Montgomery bill is great. It was made on May 15, 1861, which means it is about 163 years old.

Why are these $100 bills historically relevant?

As it turns out, they are historically important because they were made during the Confederacy. In addition to being important in American history, it has a beautiful pattern that says “America.”

The most money that the Professional Coin Grading Services says it was worth at the last sale was $4,440. Also, the National Bank Note Company in New York made and designed this amazing work of art.

The signatures on the $100 bill are neatly written at the bottom. Pay close attention to them. One more thing that stands out about this note is that the paper is bright.
