Heavy frost expected in parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama

Hello everyone. Many places across the country, from the Upper Plains to the Great Lakes States, the Northeast, New England, and now the Southeast, are still experiencing cold overnight weather.

In many parts of western South Carolina and North Carolina, the temperature will drop to just above or close to freezing. It was the same here in parts of northern Alabama and Georgia last night and again this morning.

Because of this, the National Weather Service has issued frost advisories for the whole area that was talked about, meaning that based on where you are, you could see patchy to heavy frost. Some parts of western Pennsylvania and Virginia are also getting freeze warnings because the temperature is going to drop to or below freezing.

Over the next few days, temperatures will change, but in 7–10 days, there will likely be another strong cold front that will bring back cold nights and days that are unusually cool for this time of year.
