Fatal Mistake: Teen’s Tragic Slip Leads to Deadly Accident in Monroe!

On the evening of October 22, 2024, tragedy struck in the village of Kiryas Joel, located in the town of Monroe, NY.

A fatal accident claimed the life of 36-year-old Abraham Moskovits, according to reports from State Police.

The accident occurred when a 13-year-old was behind the wheel of a 2024 Honda Odyssey, backing the vehicle into a driveway.

In a sudden and unfortunate turn of events, the car accelerated unexpectedly, leading to the loss of control by the young driver.

The vehicle then hit Moskovits, pinning him beneath it.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 8:54 PM, where they quickly worked to free Moskovits and administered life-saving measures.

Despite their best efforts, he was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Rockland County, where he was pronounced dead due to the severe injuries he sustained.
