The pop singer’s team helped get a boy who loves her to one of her shows after his video went viral.
Viral Taylor Swift Costume
He saw a clip of the beginning of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” and knew right away what he wanted to be for Halloween this year. The dancer Kam Saunders stood out the most to the 11-year-old who has spina bifida and has to use a wheelchair.
Together with a group of dancers, Saunders goes out on stage with Swift at the start of the show to play “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince.” The long, colored tails of each dancer reach high into the sky, making for a beautiful sight.
THIS was what Henry had to wear for Halloween.
Erin, Henry’s mom, changed the boy and his motorized walker into something that looked like what they saw on “The Eras Tour.” Erin put up a movie of her son on TikTok when she was done.
“Since seeing the #erastour movie Henry has said he wanted to be #kamsaunders for Halloween,” she said on TikTok. “Here’s hoping we did it justice!”
From the reaction, it looks like they really got the look. More than 4 million people watched the movie in less than a week.
Even Swift’s team had a chance to watch Henry show of his tour-inspired costume.
Taylor Swift’s Team Reaches Out
This week, Henry’s internet fame led to yet another surprise. In a second video, Erin said that Taylor Nation, Swift’s management team, asked if they could send the Louisville family to Indianapolis to see one of the last stops on the North American tour at Lucas Oil Stadium.
“So I’ve gotten a lot of messages, but today I got one from Taylor Nation,” Erin tells her son in the video.
“Shut up!” Henry says this while slapping his hands on the table in shock.
In the message, Erin reads that they are going to see the Swift play. Henry is so shocked that he starts to cry. He is going to see Taylor and the outfit that gave him the idea for his popular video.
Erin has since given out an address for people who want to send friendship bands that look like they were made by Henry Taylor Swift.
“He would absolutely be over the moon if you took the time to send him a friendship bracelet,” she says.
Hank will also have some that he made for his new friends if you see him at one of the shows in Indianapolis.
