SNAP update: Are you missing out on the Restaurant Meals Program?

SNAP, which used to be called Food Stamps, is now called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It can give someone who is eligible a monthly payment of up to $292 after the 2025 COLA increase, which is about $199 per CBPP.

With SNAP, you can save money on things like museum admission or sometimes the cost of the internet. Another benefit is the Restaurant Meals Program (RMP), which helps a certain group of people in some states.

Who can take advantage of the SNAP Benefits at Restaurants?

For your information, this is only for people who:

  • are not able to prepare meals for themselves at home

There are a number of requirements to be able to join the Restaurant Meals Program (RMP). The first is to be proven to be a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipient.
