CHERAW, South Carolina — Two persons were shot early Saturday morning in Cheraw.
Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater informed us that it happened in the parking lot of the Sandtrap restaurant at the crossroads of Highway 1 and Highway 52.
According to Streater, shots were fired in the parking lot, striking two people. He went on to say that gunfire impacted many cars as well.
He told ABC 15 that there was a carjacking at gunpoint, although it is unknown whether this is related to the shooting at this time.
Authorities have identified a suspect and are continuing their investigation.
