The coroner identified the guy who was shot and murdered outside a club in Reading on Friday night

The Hamilton County coroner has identified the man who was killed in a shooting outside a Reading bar on Friday night.

According to the coroner, Paul W. Montgomery Jr., 53, was fatally shot.

Reading police say Montgomery was discovered in the parking lot of The Lounge on Reading Road shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday.

According to officers, he was shot in the chest multiple times.

Montgomery was rushed to UC Medical Center and pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released any information about a suspect or an arrest, nor have they explained what prompted the shooting.
