Chiefs focus If a hunter killed a mountain lion over the weekend, the Missouri Department of Conservation said they would look into it.

Fort Leonard Wood is to the west, and St. Louis is to the south.
The department said that conservation officers were still looking into the shooting and that they did not have any more information to give at this time.
The last mountain lion seen in Missouri was on February 13, 2024, when it was caught on a game camera in Maries County, according to the website of the Missouri Department of Conservation.
