The Cherokee Tribal Police Department and the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office worked quickly and cooperatively to help locate one of the children, and they were found unhurt. We sincerely appreciate their assistance and dedication to this situation.

We also acknowledge the public, media, and cooperating agencies—such as Haywood County DSS—for their alertness and help in disseminating the Amber Alert. In order to quickly and safely resolve this issue, your assistance was essential.
