North Carolina’s Scotland County In an attempt to uncover fresh leads and eventually bring someone to justice, the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday that they had revived a double murder investigation that had been ongoing for 40 years.
In addition to being business partners, Breeden and Gentry were also in a romantic relationship.
Kagenia Strickland, Breeden’s 12-year-old niece, remembers the murderous night.
According to Strickland, she and her father had been inside the company earlier that night.
When Breeden passed away, her daughter was sixteen years old, and her son was thirteen.
Even after 40 years, Kimberly Breeden claimed she would never forget the day her mother passed away.
I recall that day. I remember that day like it was yesterday, even though forty years is a long time. And I remember my last conversation with my mom. That day, I remember being at the store. My brother also does it, albeit in a hazy manner. However, it seems like yesterday to me. “Who would have thought that would be my last time seeing my mom?” Kimberly continued.
She claimed that it has been challenging to live without her mother for the past 40 years.
