A Florida couple was taken into custody after allegedly beating their child in the corridor and hurling a tirade full of profanity at a school official who had reprimanded their youngster.

In order to contest their son’s battery charge for pushing a girl at Deltona Middle School the previous day, Jorge Rivera and his wife, Dagmarie Aponte Iturrino, met with a school resource officer on Tuesday.

The parents were seen growing more and more furious on the officer’s bodycam footage. Rivera told her, “I pay your salary, you dumb b****, you are a worthless piece of s***,” before being told to leave.

Before her husband struck her in the head, threw her to the ground, and took her Taser, Iturrino shoved the deputy into a wall in the hallway.

Before placing Rivera under arrest, the deputy got up, pulled out her pistol, told him to stop using the Taser, and handcuffed him.

According to the Volusia Sheriff’s Department, Rivera and Iturrino have been charged with trespassing on school property, disturbing school events, resisting with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.

In addition, Rivera was accused of grand theft and armed robbery for taking the deputy’s Taser.

Rivera’s charges were enhanced to include a hate crime when it was alleged that he insulted the deputy in a terrible way just before attacking her, which was also caught on camera.

Throughout the entire show, the couple’s child was present.

The officer was treated for concussion symptoms at a local hospital and on the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

“If you’re wondering why certain children in today’s culture have no fear of repercussions, go no farther than these parents as Exhibit A,” said Sheriff Mike Chitwood, praising her for her composed and effective response to a horrific attack.

I’m relieved they are in jail, and I hope they will be held completely responsible for this egregious assault on our deputy who was merely carrying out her duties.
