I didn’t shoot you in the correct places’: Woman allegedly begs to visit romantic sunset site, then shoots boyfriend many times before apologizing for her marksmanship

A Texas woman who was accused of bringing her long-term partner to a field and shooting him many times was just released from custody.

In the incident that left 24-year-old Elvis Munoz with many gunshot wounds on his body and a bullet in his back for months, 23-year-old Alexys Pinto is charged with one count of aggravated assault.

The shooting took place on September 5. Since then, the recovering victim has found it difficult to explain the assault.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Houston Police Department, Pinto was first unhappy with her boyfriend, a mechanic, on the day in question after one of his clients brought a car to their house for him to fix.

According to reports, Pinto became enraged when Munoz described the nature of his job, trying to strike her boyfriend and successfully kicking one of their dogs.

By seizing his girlfriend’s wrists and telling her to keep her cool, Munoz reportedly put an end to the assault.

Later, Munoz admitted to police that he did recall the place—a field. According to reports, Pinto insisted that he take her there right away.

The court filings state that Munoz pulled over at the requested intersection of Airport Boulevard and State Highway 288. Pinto then exited and began to run down a hill. She allegedly said, “Come here!” in response to Munoz’s call.

So he did. Then he overtook her. Then things became more bizarre.

The woman allegedly asked her lover a question just before he was shot in the chest, “Teach me about deer hunting.”

Munoz asserts Pinto lied and claimed he shot her by calling someone on her phone. “I didn’t do that,” the injured man screamed.

“Baby, call the ambulance,” Munoz begged Pinto.

I apologize; I didn’t intend to hurt you in that way, and I didn’t shot you in the appropriate spots! was purportedly her answer.

Munoz was confused, but he was still ready for the worst. He then placed his hand over his face, as it appeared that Pinto was aiming for the right spot. This time, as he shielded his head, a bullet struck his hand.

Munoz then screamed for an ambulance once more.

Pinto allegedly responded, I didn t mean to do you like this; it was supposed to be quick.

After some cajoling, Pinto allegedly helped the injured man back into his truck before driving him to a nearby Citgo gas station, where strangers assisted Munoz.

On September 20, an unrelated disturbance call revealed the existence of an aggravated assault warrant, leading to Pinto s arrest.

Bail in the case was initially set at $75,000 but was recently reduced to $10,000. The state initially requested $50,000 bail, then increased it to $1 million.

According to Houston ABC affiliate KTRK, Pinto was released from jail the same day Munoz was shot in the back.

All I ever did was love her, Munoz somberly told the television station.

Now, the victim expresses concern for the safety of his friends and family.

She s a danger to the community, to children, to family and friends, and to me as well, he stated to KPRC. She poses a threat not only to me and my friends, as she is aware of the locations of several of them, but also to my family. Munoz himself is perplexed.
