Man organized a party where he encouraged children to play activities that included removing clothes and performing indcent actions, while one parent was aware of his history and now regrets allowing him to be around his children; charged

Following his arrest by Utah officials, Robbert, 42, of Virginia, was charged with interfering with a witness, child endangerment (5 counts), and failing to register as a se* offender in relation to the event that occurred last week.

According to the authorities, the defendant threw a party for kids between the ages of ten and twelve. The Virginia defendant allegedly played games with the boys during the party, enticing them to undress and act inappropriately.

Authorities learned throughout the inquiry that one of the victim’s parents knew about the defendant’s past but still permitted him to be around his two kids.

The father of the children, who wished to remain anonymous, told investigators in an interview that he had known the defendant for almost ten years, during which he disclosed his criminal past as a se* offender.

Investigators were also informed by the unnamed father that he thought his friend was addicted to watching videos of child sex assault. Investigators were also informed by the parent that the defendant had been living with his family for the past seven months and that he occasionally pulled his kids out of school.

The father, who wished to remain anonymous, told authorities that the defendant had lately confessed to him that he had been grooming the two children. According to L&C, the father also said that he now regrets ever having trusted the defendant and letting him be around his kids.

Authorities found out during the inquiry that the defendant had thrown a party for kids between the ages of ten and twelve. The defendant proposed that the boys play games during the celebration. One of the games, which the defendant called the “touch your body challenge,” challenged players to strip off and act in a lewd manner.

In addition to warning the kids not to tell anyone about what transpired at the party, the 42-year-old defendant—a registered se* offender with a 2005 sexual assault conviction—also threatened to have him arrested if they did. Because officials think the 42-year-old suspect could be a flight risk, he is now being held without bond.
