SSI payments until the end of the year

The SSI payment will be made on Black Friday, November 29, as December 1st falls on a Sunday. The day that banks are open and the mail is delivered is considered a legitimate work day, even though the majority of us are off from work on Black Friday.

The January payment will be issued on Tuesday, December 31 due to January 1 being a national holiday. Recipients will need to be aware of this next modification.

As of right now, the highest amounts are $1,415 for a couple and $943 for an individual. This increase will be applied to those amounts in 2024, making them $484 for an essential person, $967 for an eligible individual, and $1,450 for an eligible individual with an eligible spouse.
