She might think that if she said a lie again, it would become true, but the truth is unwavering. No matter how many times Marjorie tries to change the course of events with her wild story of what she says happened on that fateful day, the public will not accept the fact that January 6 was whitewashed.
Marjorie’s arguments are now offensive in addition to being boring. One could as well refer to the Matthew Perna Act as Gaslighting for Novices. Her attempts to assign blame reveal her unwillingness to confront truth and draw attention to Marjorie’s stale theatrics and revisionist past.
She might think that her speech is hitting like a truth bomb and will secure her a prominent place in Trump’s clown cabinet, but it won’t. However, if her intention is to provoke anger and establish herself as the least popular historian on the internet, then she has succeeded.
