A 22-year-old woman from Fayetteville is accused of assaulting her roommate and burning home

Earlier this month, a lady from Fayetteville was arrested and accused of attacking a resident with a knife and setting a house on fire.

Due to an incident that occurred on November 13, 22-year-old Trussardi Anai Mason is charged with felony first-degree arson and criminal assault with a deadly weapon.

Mason allegedly set fire to the house where she and the two owners resided in the 1900 block of Culpepper Lane, according to court documents.

Mason woke up a sleeping roommate and slashed her hand with a knife, according to the court documents.

Mason was taken into custody at approximately 1:20 a.m. on November 14 and was held in Cumberland County Jail on a $500,000 bail on Wednesday.
