A woman was found deceased in a motel room three days ago. A Hamilton man, age 41, has been charged with murder.
At 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, police found a 48-year-old lady dead in Room 140 of the Cove Motel, located at 2800 Dixie Hwy.
This happened about twenty-four hours after Marlowe Matthews broke into the room on Friday night, according to the authorities.
Matthews spent some time in the room before departing at three in the morning on Sunday, according to the police.
Yolanda M. Wilson had stopped breathing when the rescuers got there. After examining her, they found that she had passed away.
Wilson’s head had taken several severe blows, as evidenced by the visible injuries.
Between Matthew’s departure and the arrival of police and ambulances, no one entered or left Room 140, according to a police report.
Police don’t know where Matthews and Wilson currently reside because their last known address was the Cove Motel. Matthew’s case is currently pending at Hamilton Municipal Court.
