A deceased corpse was found inside a Mooresville storage unit on Monday, according to Iredell County deputies.

The remains were found on Monday, November 18, inside a storage unit at Affordable Storage Mooresville on Oakridge Farm Highway, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities confirmed that the body was found just after 5:00 p.m.

The incident is being investigated as a suicide, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators have not yet identified the deceased person.
