A couple murdered each other as their 11-year-old son was playing video games in the next room. Cops

According to police, an 11-year-old child from Washington state discovered his parents dead in their kitchen on Halloween night after they had stabbed and shot each other.

According to a news release from the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office, the youngster called 911 around 6 p.m. to report that his parents had been killed at their home on the 4700 block of Olympia Way in Longview, which is located in southeast Washington near the Oregon border.

Deputies arrived to the house and discovered a man and woman unconscious on the kitchen floor. Paramedics pronounced both victims dead on the scene.

Police identified the couple as Juan Antonio Alvarado Saenz, 38, and his 39-year-old wife Cecilia Robles Ochoa. Their son was at home at the time of the assault, but he did not see anything since he was in another room playing video games and wearing headphones, authorities said.

Autopsies revealed that Alvarado Saenz died from numerous knife wounds to the chest, while Robles Ochoa was shot and stabbed. Detectives discovered a knife and a revolver at the site.

Alvarado Saenz allegedly stole the pistol from his office, leaving his employers unaware until after the incident.

Law authorities found that the couple was “assaulting each other,” but they couldn’t tell who was the “primary aggressor.”

Cops interviewed numerous persons who purportedly knew the pair and told them that Alvarado Saenz and Robles Ochoa had “relationship issues” and were about to divorce.

According to GoFundMe, they leave behind three children.

“We have tragically lost 2 members of our family and we are looking to fund their funeral and help keep the family and their three kids on their feet,” according to the campaign. “Please donate whatever you can to the family. Thank you. “God bless.”
