Before his case is heard in court, a Fairfield Township man who is suspected of killing his father’s fiancée will have another competency evaluation.
For the May event, Robbi Robinson, 24, was charged with two counts of aggravated arson, two counts of felonious assault, and aggravated murder.
Robinson is suspected of setting fire to Brenda Scott, 50, his father’s lover, in Fairfield Township. A few weeks later, she died after jumping out of a window.
Robinson was scheduled to return to court on Wednesday after rejecting a plea deal last week.
Rather, the defense of Robinson submitted a request to have his competency evaluated. Since being charged, he has been found competent to stand trial twice.
