One of the three women who used a baseball bat to attack a man in Jefferson City last year has entered a guilty plea.

On Tuesday, Chantrice Hickman entered a guilty plea to resisting arrest and fourth-degree domestic assault.

She received a sentence of 90 days in county jail and two years of unsupervised probation. Hickman, however, was given credit for his time served and was later released.

The Hawthorne Park Apartments on Ellis Boulevard were the scene of the assault last November.

Court records show that Hickman lived with the male victim and had a child.

She drove to confront him after learning he was at another woman’s place.

The victim and the woman followed Hickman back to Ellis Boulevard once he got home, which led to a second altercation.

Officers have footage of Hickman and her two accomplices, Takhia Criddle and Tania Townsend, striking the man’s car when he got there, according to court records.

Townsend pulled out a baseball bat at one point, and the three women took turns striking the man.

The man’s female acquaintance was also attacked when she tried to drive away. Because of their injuries, both victims were admitted to the hospital.

Court dates are coming up for Townsend and Criddle.
