A suspect in the Biscoe shooting was arrested after a traffic stop in Kannapolis: PD

Law enforcement officials said Friday morning that they had apprehended a gunshot suspect who was wanted in Biscoe, North Carolina, near Kannapolis.

Timothy Jones, 36, of Candor, North Carolina, was stopped by Kannapolis police officers on November 18th while operating a stolen car connected to a recent shooting in Biscoe, North Carolina.

Biscoe Police Department filed warrants for Jones’ felony gun possession, assault, and assault with a deadly weapon after he was arrested.

The Cabarrus County Jail is where he is being kept at the moment.

No one was injured in the shooting.
