An Indiana guy went to retrieve packages outside his home. Instead, he stumbled upon two kidnapped babies

When a man from Indiana walked outside to get something, he was shocked to discover two kidnapped kids in a ditch by the road.

Just outside his Indianapolis house, Robert Deane found the two tiny girls, who were four and five months old, wrapped in blankets in their car seats, according to CBS4.

I snatched up the car seats and carried them inside after one of them screamed. He told the publication, “We warmed them up and dialed 911.”

Police said that when Deane saw the girls on Monday morning, they were in a stolen car.

The investigation is still underway, and no new information will be published at this time, the IMPD told The Independent on Tuesday.

“We will continue to gather information as to why those two infants were left inside that vehicle,” said IMPD Sergeant William Young in a CBS4 report.

According to an appeal on X, the horrifying discovery happened as the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was looking into a stolen 2013 Hyundai Sonata that had two kids in the back.

IMPD is requesting community help in identifying the following vehicle, which was stolen with a 4-month-old and a 5-month-old child in the rear, according to the message.

The vehicle’s license plate is 364CMU. Call 911 immediately if you see this car.

The police department reported on Monday night that the stolen car had been found, and a manhunt is still in progress for the kidnapper who left in it.
