A Cincinnati, Ohio, woman was taken into custody on Friday in relation to a July 2023 robbery at Davenport’s NorthPark Mall.

Lamaya Winslow, 29, is accused with two Class C felonies: conspiracy to commit a forcible felony and second-degree robbery.

Davenport Police responded to a report of a robbery at NorthPark Mall on the afternoon of July 8, 2023.

Winslow was the getaway driver in an SUV with stolen license plates used in the heist, according to authorities, after he and other conspirators planned to loot a department store in the mall.

A Cincinnati man was detained and accused of being a co-conspirator in the purported robbery scheme in April.

The 19-year-old Brandon Hardin is accused of assault on a person in a specialized occupation, an aggravated misdemeanor, conspiracy to commit non-forcible felony, and second-degree robbery, a Class C felony.

Arrest affidavits state that Hardin grabbed multiple expensive bags from the glass case and shelf of a department store’s employee-only area before escaping.

According to arrest papers, Hardin was stopped by an off-duty Davenport Police Department officer who was in the business at the time and introduced himself as Davenport Police.

Arrest papers state that Hardin raced out of the business, got into Winslow’s waiting SUV, and fled the scene after the off-duty officer confronted him and hit him in the left eye.

Before the physical altercation, more than $2000 worth of purses were seized, according to arrest papers.

Arrest papers state that Hardin and Winslow committed a slew of criminal thefts while driving a rental car from Ohio to Iowa.

Winslow has a $10,000 bond and is being held at the Scott County Jail.

A final pretrial session is planned for April 16 and Hardin’s status hearing is slated for April 1.

Hardin requested a jury trial, which is scheduled to start in Scott County on April 21, and he gave up his right to a speedy trial.
