CINCINNATI —

The attorney for Rodney Hinton, who is charged with killing Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Henderson, is seeking to restrict the photographs that the jury can view during the trial.

Hinton is accused of running over Deputy Henderson while he was directing traffic on the University of Cincinnati’s graduation day. This incident occurred the day after Hinton’s son, Ryan, was shot and killed by a Cincinnati police officer.

The attorney for Rodney Hinton, who is charged with killing Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Henderson, is seeking to restrict the photographs that the jury can view during the trial.

Court documents reveal that Hinton’s lawyer has requested a judge to bar prosecutors from presenting the jury with images of the scene where Deputy Henderson was killed or of his autopsy.

The documents argue that such photos could prejudice the jury and hinder Hinton’s chances of receiving a fair trial.
