NFL Draft : Chiefs Round 1 Reactions
In what can only be described as a wild Round 1 of the 2022 NFL Draft, Brett Veach and the Kansas City Chiefs made the right move and came away with two players who should immediately contribute.

Kansas City Chiefs Draft Wish List

My favorite draft I have ever watched was the 2020 Draft. Not because we drafted Clyde Edward-Helaire 32nd overall or the hidden gems in later rounds (L’Jarius Sneed). It was because it was the first draft in memory that I wasn’t worried about who we picked. We had resigned all our starters, we were coming off a Super Bowl-winning year. I was on cloud 9. Now we can see the adjustments, and see what positions I think we need to address coming into this draft.

This was as predictable as me confidently walking up to a roulette wheel and almost immediately losing every penny I laid down.

When the Chiefs, over the course of several months, accumulated 12 draft picks for the 2022 NFL Draft, you knew at some point they would be linked to either moving up in the draft or acquiring a veteran in exchange for some of said draft capital.

Draft Scenarios.

Entering the final few days before the draft, Chiefs fans should be ready for a big move to happen. This time last year is when the Chiefs acquired Orlando Brown Jr. from the Ravens in return for a first-round pick. A few years before that the Chiefs also traded for former Seahawk Frank Clark. This brings us to the conclusion that the Chiefs are willing to work out deals until the draft clock hits zero.
