This $100 bill was graded by PCGS and is now called Choice Fine-15 Details. It goes without saying that the Montgomery bill is great. It was made on May 15, 1861, which means it is about 163 years old.

Why are these $100 bills historically relevant?

The signatures on the $100 bill are neatly written at the bottom. Pay close attention to them. One more thing that stands out about this note is that the paper is bright.

This feature helps draw attention to the design’s details. Keep in mind that Montgomery was the place in question.

In the end, Richmond was named the capital of the Confederate States of America. This makes the bill even more important. A lot of fans thought it was the most beautiful bill of its kind.
