Breaking News: Suspect Arrested Days After Fatal Stabbing in Newburgh, NY!

An alleged murderer was arrested just days after a deadly stabbing incident in Newburgh, New York.

Fatal Stabbing in Newburgh

Last Sunday at about 10:45 p.m., officers from the City of Newburgh Police Department responded to a call on West Parmenter Street, triggered by their ShotSpotter system.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds.

Officers quickly called for emergency medical services and attempted to save the man’s life.

Sadly, despite their efforts, the man died from his injuries at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. As of now, the police have not officially shared his identity.

Suspect Arrested

At first, the police did not have any information on the suspect involved in the stabbing.

However, just two days after the attack, authorities arrested a suspect. The man arrested is Cameron Williams, a 25-year-old resident of New Windsor, New York. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

The police have not released more details about how they connected Williams to the crime, but they continue to investigate.

They are asking anyone with more information about the incident to come forward and help with the investigation.
