The California Highway Patrol reports that a fallen tree closed a section of state Highway 92 near San Mateo on Tuesday morning, causing westbound lanes to be blocked.

According to the CHP, a tree fell across the section of westbound Highway 92 east of De Anza Boulevard in San Mateo at roughly 6:30 a.m., blocking both eastbound and westbound traffic.

Authorities declared the road fully accessible once more at around 7:15 a.m.
