Fire burns 2-story apartment building in San Jose near Los Gatos

According to authorities, a two-story apartment building in San Jose was on fire Wednesday afternoon.

The incident on the 2400 block of Los Gatos Almaden Road, close to the city borders of Los Gatos, was reported shortly before 2:00 p.m., according to the San Jose incident Department.

According to the Fire Department, occupants have been evacuated from the building where the fire was raging on the second story.

Between Redstone Drive and Verde Court on Los Gatos Almaden Road, traffic was halted.

The region was being advised to be avoided.
