Four citizens of Indiana were arrested with the help of the Fishers Police Department’s Hamilton County Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. They were charged with several offenses, including child sex abuse, child exploitation, child sexual misconduct, incest, and bestiality.

On January 29 and 30, Stephanie Reeves, Anthony Strahl, and April Brown of Greenfield were charged with the crimes of Erik Scot Reed of Morristown.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided the tip that sparked the investigation into Reed, according to a press release from the task force.

Search warrants were issued for Reed’s social media accounts by detectives from the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force, who claimed that the accounts had a variety of files, including materials related to child sexual exploitation.

A warrant for 18 counts of child exploitation and possession of materials related to child sex abuse has been issued by the Shelby County Jail. Reed was taken to Shelby County Jail after being arrested.

After receiving a tip, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children started looking into Reeves, Strahl, and Brown.

Detectives allegedly found multiple files containing content related to child sexual exploitation when they conducted search warrants on their social media accounts and multiple homes during the investigation.

The three were the subject of a warrant issued by the Hancock County Jail on 42 felony charges. All three were taken into custody and taken to the Hancock County Jail.

Detectives from Greenfield, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, the Hamilton County Sheriff, the Madison County Sheriff, and the Department of Homeland Security make up the task force, which is based at the Fishers Police Department.
