Golden State Warriors lose to Phoenix Suns 130-105

Kevin Durant scored 19 points against his old team, Devin Booker finished with 31 points and 11 assists, and the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors 130-105 on Friday night.

Bradley Beal scored 21 points off the bench for Phoenix, while Nick Richards contributed 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Warriors star Stephen Curry finished with 14 points and went 1 for 6 from 3-point range. He didn’t score until he made a short jumper 7:38 before halftime, which was only his second shot of the game. After missing his first four deep efforts, he finally made contact with 11:12 left in the game.

Moses Moody scored 17 points off the bench for Golden State, which had hoped to gain some momentum after defeating Oklahoma City, the top team in the Western Conference, 116-109 on Wednesday night.

Suns: Booker made 12 of 23 shots overall, including five three-pointers, and 7 of 15 in the first half. To surpass Walter Davis and take the top in Suns career scoring, he needs 60 points. Phoenix has won six of eight games after losing to Minnesota 121-113 at home on Wednesday.

Warriors: C Kevon Wearing a protective mask, Looney smashed his nose against the Thunder. Big man Quinten Post only played eight minutes and was fouled three times on Wednesday, but coach Steve Kerr granted him his second consecutive start. He pulled down eight rebounds and scored nine points.

Late in the first half, Booker bounced a pass almost three quarters of the court for Grayson Allen to dunk an alley-oop. As the Suns led 62-51 at the half, Len scored five points in a row to start the run.

Moody and Brandin Podziemski made 4 of 7 three-pointers, while the Warriors struggled, going 16 for 44.

The Warriors host Orlando on Monday night, while the Suns travel to Portland for a back-to-back and the first of two consecutive games over three days.
