Sharing is caring!

This is the time to find out when the Social Security Administration (SSA) plans to make the November payments in the United States. The October payments for SSDI are over.

Great news for people who get Social Security Disability Insurance and usually get their check or direct payment on the third. In November, it won’t be on that day.

When will Social Security issue the first SSDI payment in November?

People who get disability insurance will be able to get their first paycheck on November 1. It’s not often that this much money is sent out on November 3. Just so you know, SSA can’t give money on a holiday Saturday or Sunday.

This month’s SSDI check will be sent out early because November 3 is a Sunday. It will be great to get cash before you expected it, even if it’s only 48 hours ahead of time.

The good news for some people with disabilities is still going on. Some of them can also get Supplemental Security Income. The two payments will come at the same time because they usually get SSI on November 1.

The payment on November 1 will be for people who get both SSI and SSDI at the same time. It will also apply to people who started getting Social Security Disability Insurance before May 1997.

People who began getting benefits after April 30, 1997, but are not on SSI will start getting money on November 2, 2017. See below for pay dates and eligibility:

  • Disability payment on November 13: birth date from 1-10
  • Disability payment on November 20: birth date from 11-20
  • Disability payment on November 27: birth date from 21-31

Another surprise is in store for people who get SSI and SSDI. Social Security has set November 29 as the date for the December SSI payment. That means they’ll get both payments in the same month. You will get this payment two days early, even if it’s not an extra or surprise payment.
