An unexpected change of events happened when 23-year-old TikToker from Los Angeles, California, Jeffrey Bryant said he bought a house on Amazon for almost $26,000. He became the talk of the town. People all over the internet went crazy over the unusual deal. Jeffrey’s video posting about the strange house-buying experience grabbed 8.6 million views.

Jeffrey, who goes by the TikTok name @hittaa_jeff, told everyone about his amazing buy by saying, “B***h, I just bought a house on Amazon.” “I didn’t think about it twice.” This unusual business idea started when Jeffrey received money from the estate of his late grandfather. This gave him the money to start this unusual real estate business.

Jeffrey chose to look into this seemingly crazy option after seeing a YouTuber unbox a similar Amazon home. The choice he made led him to buy the Chery Industrial Expandable Prefab House, a 16.5-by-20-foot building that promised a kitchenette, bedroom, living room, bathroom, and toilet and shower that were already installed, all for a very high price.

In his first video, Jeffrey showed how his Amazon house was delivered and unboxed, focusing on how quickly it could be put together. The house was easy to move because it was movable and advertised itself as a “quick-assemble” unit. However, there was a warning in the small print that said people shouldn’t stay inside during storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and blizzards.

People were looking forward to a follow-up movie in which Jeffrey showed them around his new home on Amazon. The house had a hallway, living rooms, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. However, Jeffrey was very worried about the low ceilings.

Even with this small problem, Jeffrey’s excitement was still clear as he talked about how an Amazon representative had helped him get his order upgraded after seeing his first video. According to Indy100, the upgraded deal came with a bigger house and free sofas.

Jeffrey’s story with the Amazon house kept going as he shared plans for the property. The low-ceilinged house, which is currently getting electricity and plumbing set up, is not meant to be Jeffrey’s main home. In its place, he wants to turn it into an Airbnb so that people who have been forced to move or are homeless can stay there.

Jeffrey talked more about his goals in an interview with The New York Post. He said, “As a person of color and a Gen Z, I want to inspire others to make smart decisions with their money.” People my age are told that they can’t afford to buy homes, but I’m living proof that it’s possible.

The unusual Amazon purchase intrigued and amused TikTok users and others. Jeffrey’s films received comments from prospective buyers wanting to build houses on their parents’ land to amused replies to Amazon house purchases.

Some considered living in such a structure, making the unique purchase a discussion starter. Jeffrey’s tale shows the changing landscape of homeownership and provokes discussions about financial decisions, opportunities, and challenges for younger generations.
