A woman lost her life and two others were injured in a car crash that happened early Sunday morning on Interstate 270 in Columbus, Ohio.
The crash took place at about 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes, just south of Interstate 70.
According to police, the victim, a 30-year-old woman named Taquajah Page, was driving her Mazda 6 in the right lane.
She tried to make a left turn into an emergency turnaround so she could go north, but her car was hit by another vehicle traveling in the left lane.
Page was declared dead at the scene at 2:37 a.m. by emergency responders.
Police shared that while the driver of the second vehicle did not suffer any injuries, two passengers were taken to nearby hospitals. Thankfully, their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
